Leading by Value

Did you know that the founder of MindSpring decided the values of his company before he even knew what the company would be? He posted them in the back stairwell of the warehouse he was using as an office. These values of frugality, respect for the individual and the notion that work should be fun, were upheld until MindSpring was sold to Earthlink.
